Citadel Construction is a Minnesota exterior restoration company owned by Evan Suonvieri. We specialize in roofing, siding, gutters, storm damage restoration, and insurance claim restoration projects. We also assist with related exterior and property repairs, including windows, garage doors, HVAC components, and other trades when they are part of a larger storm damage or exterior restoration project.

Evan has been in the construction and storm restoration industry since 2017. In 2023 alone, he managed over $5 million in construction projects, including two detailed commercial projects, 27 duplexes, a large apartment complex, residential roof replacements, siding projects, gutter projects, and multiple exterior trades.

That experience has helped shape the way Citadel Construction operates today. We believe every project should be handled with attention to detail, clear communication, and a commitment to doing the work correctly. From installation details and code requirements to property protection and final cleanup, we take pride in managing projects the right way.

We also invest in property protection systems like The Catch-All to help protect siding, windows, landscaping, decks, and other areas around the home during roof replacements. It is not the cheapest way to do the job, but we believe protecting your property is part of doing the job right.

Our main specialties are roofing, siding, and gutters, but our value goes beyond installation. If you have an insurance claim and the insurance company has only approved a repair, we can provide a contractor’s inspection, repairability assessment, detailed photos, estimates, and documentation to help determine whether the approved scope is practical and code-compliant from a construction standpoint.

As a general contractor, we do not act as public adjusters and we do not interpret your insurance policy or negotiate your claim on your behalf. However, we can be a valuable resource during the claim process by documenting construction-related damage, explaining repair concerns, identifying potential code or installation issues, and helping point you in the right direction if additional claim support is needed.

If a claim requires escalation beyond a contractor’s role, we can help you understand when it may make sense to speak with a licensed public adjuster or another qualified professional.
